Abstract

This work is an exploration of the design foundation and construction of an AM Transmitter. An AM transmitter controls the transmitting and broadcasting of signals that supports information conveyance in the AM Bandwidth. A brief introduction of the concept of AM transmission is followed by detailed discussion of design and construction. The discussion is organized under the 5 stages of the AM transmitter unit, namely; Power supply, Audio Amplification, carrier wave oscillation, modulation, and the RF Power Amplification Stages.
