Abstract
The paper proclaims a summary of Li-Fi
technology. It is an efficient data communication
mechanism involving visible light as a medium of
transmission. This monograph introduces the concept
of Li-Fi and its working model. Furthermore, it
discusses its benefits, shortcomings and examines
ways to mitigate the drawbacks. Additionally, it
analyzes its present applications and explores its
future scope in the competitive wireless network
market.
