Abstract

Now - a - days there are perceptible road accidents occurring due to many reasons. Careless ness of driver is one of the reasons for accidents particularly during nights. The main objective of our project is to design a system which monitors the driver and acknowledges him if he was sleepy while he is driving a vehicle. This involves an embedded system which is a special - purpose system in which the computer is completely encapsulated by or dedicated to the device or system it controls. The design and development of monitoring and alarming system is described in this paper.
