Abstract
In this study dried powdered of Spicifera, component were used for the removal of Eosin Yellow dye from aqueous solutionby using a new biosorbent in a batch biosorption technique. The characterization of the biosorbent was performed by using FTIR and XRD techniques. The parameters investigated includes, agitation time, biosorbent size, pH, initial concentration of dye, dosage of biosorbent and temperature. The Kinetic study incorporated lagergren first order and pseudo second order models. The study also included thermodynamics and isotherms like Langmuir, Freundlich and Temkin. The experimental data was correlated for regression analysis and the data was very well fitted.
