Flat slab is a reinforced concrete slab supported directly by concrete columns without the use of beams, column flares or drop panels. Flat slab system has been adopted in many buildings constructed recently taking advantage of the reduced floor height to meet the economical and architectural demands. However, In Multistoried structures the flat slab floor system has week resistance to lateral loads like wind and earthquake hence this paper is concerned to increase resistance of flat slab structure using shear wall at different location. In present work, 15 storied flat plate building have been modeled using software package “ETABS” for different earthquake zone i.e. Zone-3, Zone-4 and Zone-5 using static analysis (seismic coefficient method) and dynamic analysis (response spectrum method and time history method). Comparison maximum story displacement, maximum story drift, base shear, time period.
