Abstract

Intelligent and dynamic traffic management is the key component for smart city development. Vehicle tracking plays a vital role in providing enhancements in urban mobility and city planning for smart city development. Real-time tracking helps authorities to manage the traffic flow, to estimate the speed of vehicles, to maintain dynamic traffic control systems, etc. Computer Vision transforms the way traffic surveillance is conducted from manual to automatic, also by making the process static and automatic. This paper provides a video processing technique to track multiple vehicles using Computer Vision.

Keywords
